Egoza Pyramid Barrier

Pyramid barrier

Egoza pyramid barrier is a reliable multi-row fence made of several concertina coils arranged in the shape of a pyramid. It is ideal for securing open areas, slopes, and locations where traditional fencing cannot be installed. The Egoza pyramid barrier is a three-dimensional structure composed of three or more concertina coils joined in a cross-linked configuration. This design allows for the creation of an exceptionally strong, tall, and hard-to-breach obstacle, even on complex terrain.

Structure and Working Principle

The core of the structure consists of three, six, or more Egoza coils connected in a triangular or trapezoidal pyramid shape. The lower coils are laid in several rows, while the upper coil forms the peak. All coils are tied together with wire or metal ties for stability.

Thanks to its shape, the barrier does not require additional support or fencing – it stands on its own. The height can reach 2 meters or more, and the width is selected based on the number and diameter of the coils.

Where Pyramid Barriers Are Used

This type of fencing is especially relevant for areas with uneven terrain, such as ravine slopes, embankments, riverbanks, landfills, and quarries. It is also used for temporarily blocking access to construction sites, training grounds, military facilities, and in border protection.

Thanks to its autonomous structure, the pyramid barrier is convenient in situations where there is no time or means to install permanent fencing.

Installation and Fixation Methods

The most reliable installation method involves anchoring the structure with screw piles and reinforcing rods. The piles are screwed into the ground, and metal rods are placed inside the lower coils and welded to the piles. This makes the barrier nearly impossible to dismantle without specialized equipment.

Additional stabilization can be provided with guy wires, stakes, and side limiters to resist wind loads. The barrier can be installed manually with minimal tools and no heavy machinery.

Advantages Over Other Types of Barriers

The Egoza pyramid barrier does not require posts, brackets, or other load-bearing structures. It is mobile, stable, easy to scale, and occupies a large volume of space, making it particularly difficult to overcome. The structure allows for quick setup and dismantling, and it can be modified if needed.

These barriers combine well with other types of fencing – for example, a concertina barrier can be mounted on top, or a Egoza razor mesh can be installed on the sides.

Configuration Selection and Delivery

When placing an order, it is important to specify the required height and width of the structure, the type of joint, and the tape material (galvanized or stainless steel). It is also recommended to plan the installation method in advance, based on soil density and the barrier’s total length.

The pyramid barrier is delivered as compact rolled sections ready for on-site assembly. Complete sets with fasteners and welded components are available upon request.
