Egoza Razor Mesh

Razor mesh

Egoza razor mesh is a flat modular barrier made of reinforced razor tape, designed to secure perimeters in environments where strength, full coverage, and resistance to digging are critical. Egoza razor mesh is one of the most compact and versatile types of reinforced razor wire barriers. Thanks to its flat design, modular assembly, and high durability, it is used in both industrial and urban settings to create a continuous physical barrier.

Design and Functionality

The mesh is formed by parallel strands of reinforced razor tape spaced at defined intervals and joined together in a staggered pattern using metal fasteners. The result is a flat, flexible sheet with diamond-shaped cells, offering high mechanical strength.

A typical section is between 1.5 and 2.5 meters in height and up to 10 meters in length. When needed, the mesh elements can be connected into a continuous line or mounted on a frame. Its flexible structure allows installation on uneven terrain, in openings, on gates, or access doors.

Purpose and Applications

Egoza mesh is used to protect military sites, borders, warehouses, industrial facilities, and private areas requiring enhanced security. It is often employed to reinforce existing fences or as a standalone barrier mounted on frames.

The mesh can be installed vertically or at an angle, including above openings or on top of fences. Due to its dense diamond-shaped pattern, intrusion becomes virtually impossible, while the sharp blades make it impassable without special equipment.

Advantages Over Other Flat Barriers

Compared to traditional flat barriers, Egoza razor mesh offers higher rigidity and better resistance to tampering. It is harder to cut or pull apart. In addition, its modular design allows damaged segments to be easily replaced, which is convenient for maintenance or disassembly.

Its compact packaging and ease of transport make the mesh a practical solution for temporary sites and mobile perimeter protection. It can serve as an alternative to the Egoza flat barrier in cases where broader area coverage or increased structural stability is needed.

Installation and Mounting Features

Mesh sections are fixed to posts, brackets, walls, or other supporting structures using welding, bolts, or special clamps. The bottom of the barrier can be anchored to the ground or buried, which prevents digging or lifting from below. Egoza mesh can also be combined with a concertina Egoza barrier installed above to create a multi-layered defense line.

Where Egoza Razor Mesh is Used

The mesh is installed at restricted-access and high-security facilities, warehouses, customs zones, and port areas. It is also effective for controlling access to construction sites, farmlands, parking lots, and logistics centers. Thanks to its versatility, it can be built into new fences or used to reinforce existing structures.
